The soil microbiome essential and unique
SolvaTerra offers innovative solutions to regenerate and optimize the natural soil microbiome
Sustainable agriculture
Healthy soil requires less use of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.
The optimized use of existing nutrients conserves resources and the environment.
An individually adapted soil microbiome can help adapt to changing environmental conditions.
Optimal nutrient absorption
Targeted adaptation
The soil microbiome
The soil microbiome includes all microorganisms found in the soil, such as bacteria, fungi, algae and viruses. It plays a central role in soil fertility as it breaks down nutrients, supports the nutrient cycle and promotes plant growth. It also protects plants from diseases and contributes to the stability of the soil.
The microbiome of each plant is unique, depending on the plant itself, its location and the environmental conditions prevailing there.

SolvaTerra
At SolvaTerra, we determine the individual core microbiome of a plant species (e.g. wheat) and then make adjustments depending on the specific requirement, e.g. by adding suitable microorganisms that can achieve the desired effects. This can be, for example, improved nutrient absorption or increased resistance to specific pathogens.
This creates a probiotic soil activator that can help reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides and thus contribute to sustainable agriculture.
Benefits of probiotic soil activators
What are the advantages of an optimized microbiome compared to conventional and probiotic fertilizers?
Sustainable long-term effect
Microbial soil conditioners can only be effective if they fit the individual microbiome of the plant. Microorganisms that are foreign to the microbiome are overgrown by the existing microbiome, do not remain permanently on the plant and thus only have a short-term effect - if at all.
The goal of an optimized natural microbiome is the long-term settlement of beneficial microorganisms and thus a sustainable improvement of soil conditions.
Effect of an optimized microbiome
Release of phytohormones for improved plant growth
Natural fungicides and insecticides
Improved root growth
Improvement of nutrient absorption
Displacement of harmful microorganisms

One step further
Microorganisms can be improved in their properties through targeted selection without being considered genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
This can further increase the already existing beneficial effect of the microorganisms.
